Membership Information

Concert Attire

Black tuxedo, white wing-tip tux shirt, black bow tie, black socks, and black dress shoes.

Cost of the dress is $56-$66 + shipping, and is ordered through AMC. Other dress requirements: black hose, black dress shoes; single strand pearl necklace which falls below the neckline 2"-4", and pearl earrings.

Other than wedding, engagement or graduating class rings, please no additional jewelry, watches or bracelets.


Each member is required to pay dues of $140 for the concert season, regardless of concerts the member may not sing or time of year that the member joins AMC.

  • Dues must be paid in full by the FIRST concert after joining or a payment schedule be in place.  If not in compliance with the dues requirements, the member will be asked to sit out that concert.

  • Any variance to this policy MUST be approved by the Executive Board after consultation with the Director.

  • Additional fees may be assessed for retreats, special projects or events, but the Executive Board and music staff work diligently to minimize the impact on members. Such fees are limited to AMC’s direct costs.

Limited financial assistance is available by application to the Executive Board, due no later than the fourth week of rehearsals. 


Rehearsal Time:  Monday evenings 7:00 to 9:30

Attendance at rehearsal is mandatory.  If a member expects to miss a rehearsal, the section leader needs to be informed in advance. After three absences from rehearsals in preparation for a concert, the member will be asked to sit out that concert unless exempted by the Music Director and Executive Board.
