Rhythm and Blues musicians.

  • Audra is an award-winning, multi-disciplinary artist from Fort Worth. She is a singer-songwriter, children's book author, and educator. She has degrees from Prairie View A&M, the University of Arizona, and SMU, all with concentrations in vocal performance. After college, Audra joined the New York Harlem Theatre. She has been seen throughout Europe in a ten-year tour of Porgy & Bess. Most recently, Audra's career has taken a beautiful turn towards jazz, where she has been able to merge her love for jazz and her classical training together to present elegant and soul-filled arrangements of spirituals and jazz.

  • A gifted vocalist in his own right, J.E. is currently touring as the 2nd tenor for the very popular Grammy-nominated a cappella group, King's Return, The Dallas-based quartet has captured the hearts of millions of fans in-person and online. Their first taste of fame came when they arranged, performed, and posted a video of their heart-stirring, a cappella rendition of “God Bless America,” which went viral. The next year, they posted a more classical a cappella performance of “Ubi Caritas,” which also went viral, amassing over 10 million views.   • Josi is a seasoned choir director, vocal coach, piano teacher, music director, and adjudicator. She earned her Bachelor of Choral Music Education from Ouachita Baptist University and her Masters in Music at SMU. Josi has a passion for all of the performing arts. She is the former Director of Choral Activities for Mansfield Timberview High School and the Fine Arts Department Head. In addition to 21 years of teaching experience, Josi has had the pleasure of serving as Children’s Choir Director for The Potter’s House Dallas as well as Friendship West Baptist Church. She has a love for musical theatre and has served as musical director for The Wiz, Dreamgirls, In the Heights, Guys & Dolls, Tarzan, Aladdin Jr., and Hairspray.

  • We are also honored to welcome Brothers in Song! Founded in December of 2019, Brothers in Song was created to serve as a musical outlet of expression of vocal music, emphasizing the quality of choral music of African American Composers for the male voice. Brothers in Song is a male chamber ensemble comprised of volunteer choral music educators representing the North Texas Metroplex. The choir has received notable acclaim and recognition from various listeners across the United States.
